Have you ever wished to revisit the halcyon days of 2014/15, when a loose-knit group of so-called “musicians” hailing from as far afield as Denmark, Spain and Japan found themselves living in close proximity to South East London’s world-renowned SE4 postcode area, filling the golden triangle between Brockley Studios on Arabin Road (shout out to Dave), the Brockley Barge (no shout-out to evil Spoons overlord, but cheap beer counted for much in these carefree, pre-brexit days) and the ancient & mystical stone circle of Hilly Fields with the heart-warming sound of some indie-rock music?

WELL NOW YOU CAN. Shelved since.. that time.. this epochal scene compilation is now finally available to devotees in a strictly limited edition of fifty luxuriously produced cassettes. All recordings are exclusive to this release, making it an invaluable record of this particular time and space in cultural history, or somesuch.

Though extortionate rents, grown up responsibilities and *THE UK’S DECISION TO LEAVE THE EUROPEAN UNION* have subsequently set many key band members adrift from their old SE4 home, all of these groups are still theoretically in existence and might even pop up to play a gig now and then, so please give ‘em some love via the links above.

The PAMS and CHARLA FANTASMA tracks were recorded by Mark Jasper at Soundsavers in Homerton; CAT SMELL tracks were recorded by Simon Trought at Soup Studios; the FLEMMINGS tracks were recorded by Rocker in Bristol as a Dandelion Radio session, and feature rare, alternate versions of some of the ever-green hits also available on their other releases.

Andy Hart from Nottingham did the magnificent artwork, and the mighty Trev of Oddbox Records fame gets a shout-out for proposing/instigating this project.
